Leslie Woods, EdS, NCSP

Owner/Founder

Leslie is an educational consultant and practicing school psychologist with a license in Washington state, and national certification in school psychology. With over a decade of experience in education, Leslie is deeply committed to driving transformative change within schools. Leslie’s roles have spanned from school psychologist to counselor, behavior specialist, private school liaison, and Student Services Coordinator across P-12 settings within the public school setting, with recent endeavors as an adjunct professor and educational consultant. Leslie has personally experienced and learned from navigating these systems with her own children, offering valuable insights that inform my approach in supporting the families she serves.
 
Leslie’s expertise lies in leading and training adults, promoting collaborative problem-solving, advocating for necessary resources, and creating valuable networking opportunities to advance MTSS implementation. Leslie excels in fostering strong partnerships between home, school, and community, guiding the implementation of effective tiered systems and practices that support all learners.

Leslie also has a passion for helping parents navigate and understand the special education process and how they can support their child. She works closely with families, schools, and community organizations to bridge the gap and make complex tiered support systems understandable and accessible to all, ensuring that every child has the resources and supports they need to thrive.

The sparrow, symbolizing simplicity and adaptability, embodies the mission to make education accessible, foster equitable partnerships among families and schools, and implement systemic and tiered supports regardless of resources or budget constraints, ensuring all students get what they need when they need it.
